If we were to single out one of the most important phases of the design process it definetely would be the planning phase. It is planning and implementation of a tested strategy that is the key to web site success. We develop around our five-phase strategy process:

Phase I - Defining The Project

  • Meeting to define requirements (personal or by phone)

    • Identifying backend programming needs

  • Quote approval
  • Start of project

Phase II - Research & Planning

  • Audience analysis
  • Competitor analysis
  • Definition of time scales
  • Signing of contract

Phase III - Developing Protosite

  • Creating a content delivery plan
  • Site structure development
  • Developing graphic concepts
  • Developing navigation systems
  • Ongoing feedback and approval from client (via private staging area)

Phase IV - Production & QA (Quality Assurance)

  • Content integration
  • Backend application development (databases, email systems …)
  • Finalising graphic design
  • QA testing
    • Cross browser, platforms testing
    • Content check
    • Bug check
    • Broken links check
  • Final approval and upload on client server

Phase V - Launch & Beyond

  • Launch & completion of financial transactions
  • Continued technical support
  • Search engines registration & promotion (if agreed)
  • Ongoing maintenance (if agreed)
